This document is a product and legal review draft. It is not final legal advice and should not be published until reviewed by counsel.
Pocket's Role
Pocket provides software, user interface, data display, social publishing, portfolio display, and transaction-preparation tools. Pocket does not operate an exchange, broker-dealer, investment adviser, commodity trading adviser, managed account program, trading venue, or copy-trading service.
Social trading features let users publish posts, trade snapshots, PnL cards, open-trade cards, closed-trade cards, historical performance statistics, profile data, follows, comments, and reactions. These are user content and product displays. Pocket does not endorse a post, author, trade, strategy, performance statistic, route, venue, or market view merely by displaying it.
No Investment Advice
Trade posts, profile statistics, win rates, profit-and-loss values, leaderboards, rankings, likes, comments, creator badges, and mimic-trade affordances are not investment, financial, legal, tax, accounting, commodities, derivatives, or trading advice.
Users are responsible for evaluating whether any trade, market, venue, leverage level, collateral amount, order type, risk setting, funding route, and jurisdictional status is appropriate for them.
Past performance, screenshots, ranks, win rates, and displayed profit-and-loss values do not predict future results. A profitable historical or open trade can lose money before another user acts on it.
Data Limits
Pocket may display data from Pocket trade records, venue market data, wallet data, third-party APIs, public blockchain records, or user-provided content. Any displayed statistic can be incomplete, delayed, stale, incorrectly calculated, or affected by outages, fees, funding, slippage, order rejections, liquidation, market data errors, venue changes, or provider limits.
Where available, Pocket will label whether trade data is paper or live, timestamped, closed or open, user-provided or Pocket-verified, and whether trade size is hidden, notional, or percentage-based. Users should assume unlabeled or uploaded performance claims are unverified.
Trade-share and mimic surfaces may prefill market, venue, direction, size, leverage, collateral, take-profit, stop-loss, or other order fields. Prefilled fields can be incomplete, stale, unavailable, or different from what the source author used. Users must verify every field before signing or submitting an order.
Open Trade Sharing
Open-trade sharing can reveal active positions, direction, market, venue, entry or snapshot price, leverage, timing, and performance. Depending on settings, it may also reveal trade size or allow others to infer strategy.
Open trades can change rapidly. A card that was accurate when posted can become stale before another user sees it. A shared open trade may be reduced, closed, liquidated, reversed, cancelled, or unavailable to mimic.
Once shared, open-trade information, closed-trade information, and trade results may remain associated with the user's account or profile where needed for integrity of performance statistics, safety, moderation, audit, compliance, dispute resolution, or anti-fraud reasons.
Users should not enable open-trade sharing if they do not want others to see or infer their active positions.
Closed Trade And PnL Sharing
Closed-trade cards and PnL cards can be affected by fees, funding, slippage, partial fills, deposits, withdrawals, price sources, market data timing, and calculation method. PnL may be shown as an amount, percentage, multiple, or other metric depending on the product surface.
Win rate, total PnL, and profile statistics can be incomplete if trades occurred outside Pocket, on unsupported venues, before a user connected an account, in paper mode, or during data outages.
Mimic Trade Boundary
The Mimic Trade feature does not automatically copy trades. A mimic action can prepare an editable draft order based on a visible trade snapshot. Before any order is placed, the acting user must review current market conditions and separately confirm the draft with their own wallet, venue account, or signing surface.
The acting user can change or decline the draft. The original author cannot trade on behalf of the acting user, control the acting user's funds, or cause future trades to execute automatically through Pocket.
Execution can differ from the original trade because of market movement, liquidity, slippage, fees, minimum order sizes, leverage limits, margin requirements, venue restrictions, network conditions, latency, venue downtime, or order rejection.
Creator, Promotion, And Conflict Rules
Users must disclose material compensation, sponsorships, referral arrangements, affiliate relationships, revenue sharing, token allocations, venue incentives, or other conflicts connected to posted content where required or where a reasonable user would consider it important.
Pocket may disclose Pocket's own fees, rebates, referral fees, integrator fees, revenue shares, routing incentives, grants, creator incentives, or other commercial relationships in the relevant product surface, policy, or fee disclosure.
If Pocket offers creator rewards, mimic-related rewards, referral programs, or campaigns, those programs may have eligibility rules, thresholds, formulas, payout limits, provider checks, tax requirements, and changing terms. A creator may be compensated when users view, follow, mimic, trade, or fund through Pocket, which can create a conflict of interest.
User Content Rules
Users may not post content that is false, misleading, manipulative, deceptive, or unlawful. Prohibited content includes guaranteed-return claims, risk-free claims, fake performance, impersonation, undisclosed paid promotion, market manipulation, coordinated pump activity, wash trading, off-platform deposit pressure, requests for wallet seed phrases or private keys, and instructions to evade eligibility, sanctions, KYC, geofencing, venue, or provider restrictions.
Pocket may hide, label, throttle, remove, preserve, or report content; restrict social trading features; suspend accounts; or take other action where Pocket believes doing so is needed for user safety, compliance, market integrity, moderation, provider requirements, legal process, or platform reliability.
Privacy And Publication
Social trading can reveal public profile information, trade direction, market, entry or snapshot price, leverage, timing, and performance. Depending on user settings, it may also reveal trade size information. Other users may copy, quote, screenshot, index, share, or preserve public content.
Some records may be retained for security, compliance, dispute resolution, abuse prevention, tax, accounting, analytics, moderation, or legal obligations. Blockchain transactions and third-party venue records may be public or retained outside Pocket's control.
